What you’ll do 

Cboost is a young, ambitious engineering firm and a social enterprise. Making a profit is just as important as our other big goal: solving sustainability problems with Robotics and AI. We have the necessary knowledge and expertise in-house to help companies innovate. Now is the time to really make an impact! How? By growing even faster, specifically in the Randstad region of the Netherlands. 

That is why we are looking for a Business Developer, a hands-on commercial commando with an active network. You’ll be an important member of the sales team, and key to expanding Cboost’s activities geographically. Your primary task is to create a customer portfolio within the Randstad. You do this by bringing in new assignments and by managing existing relationships. Together with our engineers you work on high-tech solutions for our customers. You’ll also manage customer relations together with our project managers, preparing quotes and presentations, managing expectations and making sure the customer gets the service they deserve. In the meantime you’ll help optimize sales processes, analyze market trends and help create commercial plans

Who you are

As a colleague within our core team you will play an important role in the future of Cboost. You are the one who puts us on the map in the Randstad with realism, business acumen and inspiration. Sales – from acquisition to retention – no longer holds any secrets for you; you have 5 years of work experience in a commercial position, ideally within a technical environment. You like working in a young organization in which a lot is already in place, but in which there is still a lot to do. You are therefore both strategic and hands-on. You can work independently with an entrepreneurial attitude, achieving results in a people-focused manner, with a passion for innovation and sustainability. Sales, customer relationship management and helping Cboost grow are your primary tasks: 

  • A creative self-starter with a growth mentality 
  • Results driven, strong interpersonal skills and expertise in conceptual selling 
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English 
  • Your own business network in the Randstad that you’ll use to expand Cboost 
  • Proven track record as a (technical) account manager / business developer 
  • Experience or great affinity with high-tech (preferably robotics and / or AI
  • Affinity with solving sustainability issues is a plus 
  • Enjoy working and helping in an informal start-up environment 

Meet Cboost

We provide AI-powered robotization to businesses, mostly within the manufacturing, logistics and infrastructure industries. We provide consultancy, engineering, and training services to help our customers optimize processes, solve personnel shortages and transition into circular processes. We do this by combining hardware, software and business engineering. 

Cboost consists of a highly motivated, close-knit team of about 20 people with different backgrounds and expertise. What connects us is the will to use technology for a healthy and sustainable world. How? By enablingnew processes, such as robotized agriculture, fuel-saving logistics and customized production with IoT.   

  These are complex matters. That’s why we invest a lot in the development of our Cboosters. For example: in addition to education and training, everyone at Cboost has a certified personal (external) coach who brings out the best in them. Of course, it can’t all just be serious. That’s why we regularly have different team activities: BBQs, drinks, game nights, sports activities and fun team trips.  

  We’re very flexible in how we work. Depending on the assignment, you will work either at a customer location, Cboost’s offices (Delft and Eindhoven) or from home.
